PwC Legal boosts cyber and data team with appointment of James Drury Smith

PwC Legal continues to grow its cyber security and data protection practice with the appointment of James Drury Smith.

James joins as a director from the cyber security & data privacy practice at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe.

James has been advising clients on privacy and cyber security matters across a broad range of industries (including financial services, retail, technology and health) for over 10 years. He helps clients to navigate cross-border privacy issues and implement data protection controls globally, and also has extensive experience implementing compliance programmes within global organisations.

James Drury-Smith, director at PwC Legal, said:
