PwC grows its regional pension teams to meet client demand

PwC has strengthened its pensions team with the promotions of a new equity partner and three new directors. This investment is on the back of strong growth for PwC’s pensions and investment consulting team, which has recorded double-digit growth for the fourth year in a row.

Alison Fleming has been made equity partner. Her focus will include the financial services sector nationally and she will continue to lead and grow PwC’s Scottish pensions team.

Ros Williams, Debbie Cane and Julia Yates have all been promoted to directors. Ros will continue to help grow and service PwC’s corporate and trustee client base in the Midlands, and Julia will lead the pensions credit advisory team there. Debbie is part of PwC's specialist Asset-Backed Contributions pensions advisory team, where the firm is seeing continued strong demand for its Reservoir Trust and related solutions to help trustees and companies manage pension scheme financing better.

Raj Mody, head of pensions consulting at PwC, said:

“This is a great achievement for them all and reflects their sustained contribution and commitment to our pensions business. These promotions follow continued strong growth for our pensions group as we expand in size and capability nationally. We are finding that pension scheme sponsors and trustees are increasingly looking for advisers who have the breadth and depth of pensions knowledge and practical experience to help steer them through the opportunities and challenges for their pension schemes.”
