Renewables funding announcement "partially addresses industry concerns" - PwC comment
Published at 16:43 PM on 02 October 2014
Commenting on DECC's renewable funding announcement today, Ronan O'Regan, director, energy & renewables, PwC, said
"With todays announcement, the government have partially addressed industry's concern regarding the 2014 Contracts For Difference allocation round budget.
"The £15m increase to the pot for mature technologies will be unlikely to ease concerns from solar and onshore wind developers. Offshore wind developers can now look forward to a pot which should make two, rather than one project affordable within the increased budget."
