PwC appoints new insurance director

Published at 10:15 AM on 10 September 2014

PwC has appointed Daniel Dzenkowski as an insurance director and FATCA specialist. Daniel will primarily help to lead specific aspects of PwC’s operational tax services for clients in the insurance sector.

Daniel joins from KPMG where he  led its information reporting work across a number of industry groups.  Prior to this, he was tax counsel at a leading US investment bank.

Daniel is a recognised expert on emerging global operational tax requirements, a frequent public speaker on the subject, and a guest lecturer at the London School of Economics on US taxation. He has more than 12 years of experience advising clients such as insurance companies, insurance brokers, investment banks, building societies, wealth managers, asset managers, stock brokers, private equity groups and pension funds.

Colin Graham, financial services partner and insurance tax leader at PwC, commented:

“I am delighted that Daniel is joining our team. Daniel brings skills which are in limited supply in the market, in particular, his combination of technical and industry experience of operational taxes. His expertise will benefit our clients across a whole range of issues such as FATCA and similar information reporting regimes.”
