Your chance to take part in our pensions scheme funding survey 2014

Scheme funding approaches have been the subject of much discussion in recent months following the Pensions Regulator's new scheme funding code of practice issued in June. This  highlights the importance of  implementing an integrated approach to understanding and managing risks across the three key “strands” of covenant, investment and funding. Our annual pension scheme funding survey provides valuable insight into current UK pensions practice - see here for our blog on some of the interesting results of last year's survey - and we hope that his year's survey will do the same, capturing the approaches being adopted by scheme sponsors and trustees in reaction to the new code.

The survey should only take around fifteen minutes to complete and we'll share the anonymised results of our findings with those who take part. Even if your valuation is still in negotiation the survey can be completed with your expectations of the outcome.

Participating in the survey

You can open the survey here to complete. Alternatively, you can send copies of your valuation report, Statement of Funding Principles and Recovery Plan (or latest draft results and assumptions if your valuation is not yet complete)  to us and we'll happily complete the survey on your behalf. All participants will receive a copy of the full benchmarking report, at no cost.

The deadline for completing the survey is Friday 14 November.
