Craig Gentle - Head of Assurance

Craig leads the Assurance Practice in the West Region, comprising Audit, Transaction Services and Risk Assurance. His team are responsible for audit work covering both the public and private sector and other ad-hoc assurance and corporate reporting assignments.

The transaction services specialists deal with both vendor and buyer led due diligence, post deal integration and structuring services. The risk assurance team cover a wide range of services, providing assurance that systems and controls are operating effectively, risks are understood and managed, and data is secured and capable of being accessed efficiently and effectively.  The team works both on individual consultation assignments as well as providing long term outsourced or co-sourced support, for example in the field of internal audit.

Prior to leading the Region's Assurance practice, Craig headed up the Region's Financial Services Assurance team, consisting of 85 specialist staff  whose experience and expertise has led us to be recognised as a Financial Services Centre of Excellence in the UK.
