PwC has announced that Heather Ancient will take on the leadership of their Plymouth office following the retirement of Eugene McCann at the end of 2012.
Heather joined PwC in 1994, after running her own business in Stoke Fleming whist studying for her accountancy qualifications. In the last seven years, Heather has successfully grown and developed the firm’s government and public sector practice in the region. She continues to work with private companies providing audit and assurance services and is uniquely placed to understand the diverse market in Devon and Cornwall.
Heather said: “This is an exciting opportunity and I am looking forward to continuing to grow our business in the South West. I am taking on a practice that’s in excellent health thanks to Eugene’s leadership and the support and energy of the staff in Plymouth.”
PwC are also pleased to announce the promotion of Steve Patey to Director with effect from 1 July. Steve has been with the firm for 20 years providing support to private companies in the South West.
