Tony Connelly - Tax Investigations

Tony has worked in the field of Tax Investigations in HM Revenue & Customs for twenty years, having spent five of those years in Special Compliance Office (formerly Enquiry Branch in Bristol/London) dealing principally with Tax Avoidance and Evasion and Criminal Prosecution Cases.

Tony also spent five years as a District Inspector in charge of a traditional and a new compliance District and was a member of HMRC's training team for compliance under Self Assessment.

Since joining the firm Tony has represented both internal and external clients in negotiations with the Inland Revenue Specialist Investigation. Currently Tony has responsibility for leading Tax Investigations in the Wales & West Region of PwC and liaison responsibility for PwC in the Channel Islands.
