Welsh Revenue Authority to consult on powers to tackle tax crime

Welsh Revenue Authority consult on the impact of being provided with specific criminal powers to tackle tax crime and invite views on:

- 1) the need to tackle devolved tax offences through the use of criminal powers;
- 2) the organisations which may be involved in criminal investigation and prosecution;
- 3) the practical implications of making use of different elements of UK criminal powers legislation;and
- 4) ensuring appropriate safeguards and governance on the use of these powers. 

Deadline for comments is 2 October 2017.
