Employment Taxes annual update seminar

Wednesday 30 May 2012

The aim of the seminar is to review key issues in employment taxes as well as covering practical points around the completion of 2011/12 forms P11D, PAYE Settlement Agreements and other reporting requirements.  Areas to be covered will include:-

  • Review of common issues on P11Ds, PSAs, Taxed Award Schemes etc.
  • Recent HMRC activity around gross payments and S16 Returns.
  • Employee Travel – Can an employee ever be “based at home”?
  • Real Time Information, Payrolling Benefits and other new challenges in day to day payroll

Following interest shown at recent seminars on the problems created by employees working from home and claiming expenses, we will be spending some time looking at the rules for claiming relief on travel costs together with the traps they create.
