Andrew Bell - Head of Tax, Scotland

Since joining the firm over 25 years ago, I have gained extensive experience across a wide range of industries both in the UK and in cities such as Chicago in the US. In 1997 I was admitted to the partnership and prior to joining the Aberdeen team earlier this year, I headed the UK compliance tax business. On 1 July I took on the role of head of tax Scotland.

Here in the North East of Scotland, our focus is on helping companies manage their tax compliance and reporting requirements more efficiently and effectively, in particular using technology and process improvement. We also work alongside international groups as they look to design tax efficient business structures as well as innovative businesses as they seek to drive down the post tax cost of product development.
