r2i attending the launch of the Market Research Society Northern Ireland Network

13 April 2016

The next meeting of the MRS Northern Ireland Network will be held over lunch (1.00-2.00pm), on the 17th May, being facilitated by CARD Group.

In February r2i attended the first meeting of the MRS Northern Ireland network, along with representatives from a range of well-known and independent market research agencies including delegates from PwC, Ipsos, Millward Brown, Perceptive Insight, Ruth Flood and several independent consultants.

Over drinks and an informal lunch a range of issues were discussed including how to encourage new recruits to the sector within Northern Ireland and how to raise the profile of the region, recognising some of the key strengths of the market research agencies operating in Northern Ireland.

The network plans to meet on a regular basis to share best practise, socialise and promote networking activities.

Commenting on the inaugural even Jane Frost, CEO of MRS,  expressed excitement for a new members’ network in the region - "Developing opportunities for professional networking, learning and best practice exchange are at the heart of what we do, and we’re thankful to CARD Group for giving researchers in the region the chance to get together."
