Sara Caplan - Partner, PwC Consulting Group

Sara Caplan is a Partner in PwC’s Consulting Group, responsible for leading our work in the education and skills arena. She worked for 10 years in the FE/HE sector both as Head of the Business School and Director of Registry in a mixed economy College.

Sara leads a number of our education and skills-related programmes including: Achievement for All, a programme designed to raise attainment levels in schools in England, focusing on pupils with SEND, and the development of the Higher Apprenticeship Framework for the Professional Services sector, which will include routes for audit, tax and advisory.  She also led the World Class Skills programme, which was designed to transform the FE sector to become more employer and employee focused and involved working across the public and private sector with both education and training providers and employers, the development of a number of National Skills Academies and advises on skills policy on an all-party basis. Sara is a member of the National Skills Forum and has spoken on skills issues extensively on a national basis.
