UK tech awards 2016 – shortlist announced

05 October 2016

The shortlist for the UK tech awards has been announced by the judging panel, recognising the efforts of the flourishing UK tech industry.

The UK tech awards, which have evolved from the very successful techMARK awards, are now in their 16th consecutive year, sponsored by PwC in association with Silicon Valley Bank and produced by Ford Sinclair Ltd. They reflect the contribution of both public and private fast-growing and innovative home-grown tech companies.

Jass Sarai, UK technology leader at PwC, said:

“The voting panel was really impressed by the quality of nominations this year. The UK’s tech sector continues to thrive, with private companies in particular blazing a trail for innovation, growth and creating shareholder value. We are also seeing growth in the number of companies employing new technologies to provide differentiated services to their consumers in the digital world.”

The winners of the UK tech awards will be announced at an awards dinner to be held at Park Plaza, Westminster on Wednesday 9 November 2016.
