PwC partner named as new Vice President of RICS

PwC real estate and infrastructure consulting partner Amanda Clack has been elected Vice President of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the professional body for the property profession worldwide.
Amanda was appointed following elections for the new RICS Governing Council that took place in July and has just been named as the newest member of the RICS presidential and leadership team.
Amanda Clack, real estate and infrastructure consulting partner at PwC, said:
"I am delighted to have been appointed Vice President of RICS. My involvement with RICS goes back for over 25 years, including when I was appointed chairman of my local Essex branch. Since then I have held various RICS roles, including being a member of the governing council for over 11 years. I’m looking forward to supporting our ambitions to grow membership across the globe in terms of land, property and the built environment and am extremely grateful that my firm, PwC, supports me fully in my work with RICS.”
Amanda sits on PwC's Real Estate Leadership Team and is head of real estate consulting. She leads PwC’s consulting business across the south-east of England and works with major FTSE 350 and mid-market clients. She provides clients with business transformation and wider property advice on their UK and global operations. Amanda also leads on portfolio management at PwC and is head of professional standards and liaison with the professions for the firm’s Programme and Project Management (PPM) competency.
Amanda is a chartered quantity surveyor and fellow of RICS. She is immediate past vice-chairman of the RICS Management Board, led the Clack Review on Election and Selection, as well as establishing and being the inaugural chair of the UK & Ireland World Regional Board at RICS.
She has been an external examiner and lecturer at various universities, as well as being a freeman of the City of London and member of the Surveyors Livery Company.
