NI Futures: Helping economic take off

With the Chancellor’s Autumn Statement on 29 November confirming a substantial rise in Air Passenger Duty (APD) in 2012, what is the future for our leisure and business travel? Given the impact of APD on the competitiveness and growth prospects of the Northern Ireland economy, the APD debate is of vital significance and should be treated as equally important to our economic future as the current debate on devolving Corporation Tax.
