Welcome to PwC in Northern Ireland

PwC is Northern Ireland’s largest firm of professional advisors and, with over 720 partners and staff in our three local offices, we advise more public sector bodies, overseas investors and family-owned businesses than anyone else in the region.

This site is more than just an introduction to PwC in Northern Ireland. While it offers an insight into who we are and the services we provide, it also highlights issues of concern to the region’s public and private sector organisations; and to those considering Northern Ireland as an investment location.

And of course, it is a source of media and business information and it lets readers download a selection of specialist PwC publications, together with our economic and policy reviews.

But while we are very much part of the Northern Ireland community, we’re also part of a much larger family of over 161,000 people in 154 countries in firms across PwC’s global network.

So while we offer local knowledge and expertise at home, we also pool our thinking and  share our experiences to deliver global solutions that help local clients develop fresh perspectives and new growth opportunities.

Northern Ireland is a remarkable region and despite three decades of adverse international publicity it remained one of the UK’s leading inward investment destinations.

The last major survey of foreign direct investment, undertaken by PwC, confirmed that with less than 3% of the UK’s population, Northern Ireland attracted over 9% of mobile inward investment into the UK.

And despite the current turbulent international economic climate, Northern Ireland continues to win new investment from overseas and further reinvestment from organisations already operating here.

But this traffic is not just one-way.

PwC in Northern Ireland is now a major exporter, with around 40% of our annual revenues now earned from clients, assignments and markets outside Northern Ireland.

And as our centres of excellence continue to expand their operations outside Northern Ireland we will continue our growth as the leading advisor at home and a growing exporter abroad.
