Hot topics for trustees: Asset backed contributions ('ABCs')

Our Trustee newsletter provides pensions professionals with a round-up of the latest key issues.

In recent years Asset backed contributions ('ABCs') have become a key part of scheme funding discussions with many schemes either already holding such an asset or gearing up to consider them in their next round of negotiations.

PwC's latest newsletter for pensions trustee gives an update on the recent tax changes which impact asset backed contributions, written by the PwC team who engaged with HMRC as part of their consultation and in giving feedback on the legislation drafts.

The newsletter also gives an overview of the other areas trustees need to consider when appraising an ABC.
