PwC celebrates 25th anniversary of Milton Keynes office
PwC’s Milton Keynes office hosted a summer staff party on the 15th June to celebrate 25 years of investment in strengthening its local team of experts and successfully supporting businesses in the area.
Since the local office opened in 1987, the firm’s strategic investment programme has allowed the local team to grow and today its experts provide a diverse range of specialist services to businesses and organisations, in areas such as tax advice, auditing and support for corporate finance transactions. The firm’s global network also provides local businesses with valuable access to international know-how and market knowledge.
Last year, the firm recruited 14 new graduates, maintaining its commitment to offering young, talented individuals the opportunity to become part of a successful team and develop their professional services skills. Further graduate appointments are planned for later this year.
Mike Robinson, senior partner at PwC’s Milton Keynes office, said:
“We are delighted to be celebrating 25 successful years in Milton Keynes and as well as looking back over how far we have come, this celebration gives us an opportunity to look forward as we plan to further strengthen our local team for the benefit of local companies.
“We aim to continue to invest to bring talented people to the local office at the same time as developing our people. This is especially important at a time when many businesses are facing challenging trading conditions.
“As well as investing in talent, we aim to continue to focus on delivering excellent client service and in particular supporting the area’s rich seam of knowledge-based businesses that will be so important to the local economy in the future.”
