Richard Keys joined PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) in 1973, becoming a partner in 1984.
He is based in London and his career has included a spell on secondment to the UK Government, significant involvement in the UK privatisation programmes of the 1980s and early ‘90s and the first airline IPO in China.
Richard has served a wide range of clients and more recently combined his client responsibilities with leadership of the UK firm’s Assurance Professional Standards and Risk Management functions, including membership of the UK Assurance Executive.
In this role he was closely involved in the establishment of PwC's Global Accounting Consulting Services group to focus on the challenges of implemeting new and amended International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) on an international scale. He now leads this group as PwC's Global Chief Accountant and is a member of the Global Assurance Leadership Team.
